Each week, we discuss neurodivergence in-depth and within different contexts: work accommodations, legal rights, home accommodations, how/why to get an official diagnosis, etc.

Join therapist Crystal Britt for a series of 6 workshops that serve as a thorough introduction to being neurodivergent and how to navigate adulthood as a neurodivergent individual.
Week 1: Introduction to Neurodiversity
Objective: To introduce the concept of neurodiversity and its spectrum, fostering an environment of acceptance and understanding.
Week 2: Understanding Your Neurodivergence
Objective: To explore common neurodivergent conditions in more depth, focusing on characteristics, challenges, and strengths.
Week 3: Coping Strategies and Support Systems
Objective: To introduce and practice coping strategies for common challenges, and to understand the importance of building a supportive community.
Week 4: Navigating the World: Accommodations and Legal Rights
Objective: To educate participants about their rights and the accommodations they can seek in various aspects of life (education, workplace, etc.).

Objective: To encourage the development of a positive neurodivergent identity and foster community connections.
Week 6: Looking Forward: Goal Setting and Personal Growth
Objective: To empower participants to set personal goals and pursue growth with the understanding and acceptance of their neurodivergence.
This sounds like a much better structure than the group I was recommended by my local mental health worker. 👍🏼
It's sad that this kind of thing is needed but, I am so glad that people like you are taking the reins where the so-called official avenues have failed.
